Luxor by Van

Before sunrise our small minivan leaves Hurghada and crosses the desert towards the Nile. By mid-morning you are standing among the giant columns of Karnak, where your French-speaking guide brings the pharaohs back to life. After lunch you cross to the West Bank: the painted tombs of the Valley of the Kings, the terraces of Queen Hatshepsut’s temple and the Colossi of Memnon watching over the fields. A long day, and one you will never forget.
